The front design is intentionally stripped back. The LINKIN PARK title is rendered in a raw, hand-scratched style, echoing the feeling of ideas written aggressively on a board before they’re refined. Below it stand six shadowed silhouettes—faceless, nameless, and still. They represent multiple versions of the same person, different thoughts waiting their turn to speak, or the silent pressure of the crowd versus the self. There are no identities here because Papercut was never about who you are outwardly—it was always about what’s happening internally.

The back design carries the emotional weight of the piece. Two figures sit back-to-back, one screaming into a microphone and the other tearing into a guitar. They are not two individuals but two expressions of the same mind in conflict. This duality reflects the constant internal push and pull described in the song—anger versus control, fear versus expression. The energy between them feels tense, almost explosive, as if the emotion has nowhere left to go but outward.
