"KRANTI" marks the beginning of a journey. A journey that made us witness the duo, Encore ABJ and Calm, conquer every stage and get recognised amongst the biggest names in Indian hip-hop. Back in 2018, when the Indian hip-hop scene was yet to be discovered by masses, Seedhe Maut burst onto the scene with a raw energy that was impossible to ignore. The intro to their first big project - KRANTI, echoed the unfiltered narratives of the streets, and unapologetic embrace of their roots.

A tribute to the legendary duo from Delhi - Seedhe Maut. This design is a visual ode to where it all began, to the gritty beat and motivational verses that kept us hooked since 2018. We wanted to take our boys in a memory lane, to look back at the distance they have travelled since dropping this track. The first 4 lines of the track tells us about the mindset these individuals had when they were starting up as 'freshers' in the industry. Today, they have proved with their hardwork that these 4 lines are mantra for achieving success.

In the back of the design, there's the "Spit Dope" logo painted on a shutter door of a shop, referencing to the Delhi collective that the duo represented. Calm and Encore ABJ were part of this collective as battle rappers and were actively taking part in cyphers and rap battles. The duo's appearance in KRANTI music video gives a raw organic feeling of belonging. Two young guys walking down the streets of Delhi, unaware of the impact they are about to create.
