Some collaborations are made for a single song. Others become part of a culture.

When Raftaar and KR$NA released "I'm Ready" in October 2017, they weren't simply bringing together two talented rappers; they were showcasing a partnership built on years of trust, shared ambition, and a vision for Indian hip-hop. Nearly a decade later, that same bond continues to define one of the strongest brotherhoods in Desi Hip-Hop (DHH).

At The Bridge, we wanted to celebrate that journey with more than just another oversized T-shirt. We wanted to create a piece that tells the story behind the music.

Why Street Fighter?

When designing this merch, we asked ourselves a simple question:

If Raftaar and KR$NA existed inside a video game, what game would it be?

The answer came instantly.

Street Fighter.

Not because they're rivals but because of Ken and Ryu.

Ken and Ryu trained under the same master, learned the same martial art, and eventually developed completely different fighting styles. Despite walking different paths, they remained brothers, constantly pushing each other to become stronger.

That story felt remarkably similar to Raftaar and KR$NA.

They grew together within the same movement, sharpened each other's craft, developed distinct artistic identities, and helped shape the sound of modern DHH. They're different artists, but they're connected by the same roots.

That's the parallel this artwork celebrates.

The Character Selection Screen

The back design recreates the iconic character selection screen from classic arcade fighting games.

Player 1 has already selected Raftaar, reimagined through the visual language of Ken.

Player 2 locks in KR$NA, inspired by Ryu.

Below them sits a roster featuring familiar faces from the Kalamkaar and AK Projects family, a tribute to the collective that helped define an important era of Indian hip-hop.

And beneath everything sits one simple question:

ARE YOU READY?

In every classic fighting game, this is the final prompt before the battle begins. Here, it becomes something bigger. It's a reference to the track. 
It's a mindset.
It's the mentality every artist carries before stepping onto a stage, every rapper carries before stepping into a cypher, and every dreamer carries before taking the next step.
